Life made more sense,
When I didn't know it all,
When my breadth of knowledge,
Was tiny and small.
The more I know,
The more I want to hide,
The more I understand,
The more I want to keep it inside.
It hurts to try,
To find reason in confusion,
When soon it will just blow up
In a veritable explosion.
"Ignorance is bliss". But what use is there for such bliss?
ReplyDeleteim not saying i want to be ignorant. i just wish the things i did know were so bad.
ReplyDeleteKnowledge in what area, may I ask?!
ReplyDeletebad things... worldly things you are supposed to know to be a regular part of society but things a nice jewish maidel doesnt want to have a clue about... i hate being the one in my class who knows about the things the teacher is insinuating but no one else has any idea because they dwell so securely in their daled amos...
ReplyDeletei hate knowing what i know.
Oh, Okay. I wasn't sure if you were referring to that or something else.
ReplyDeleteYes, it's true, don't you wish you can just stay innocent forever?!
